MVP Blue Jackets Announce Merger with GSA Gatorz for 2020!

November 20, 2019

Dear MVP Family,

Today marks a very important day for MVP and its people. As we enter in to our 6th year of business we continue to learn and grow to become the best organization we can be. We have achieved a great deal within our baseball and softball training programs as well as our travel baseball and softball teams. It is now time we get after something much bigger. We will pursue true Success! What is Success you might ask. To us, success is not just about maintaining our “winning way” tradition but rather a concept built on the pillars of Trust & Camaraderie. Working together to satisfy our customer’s needs while accomplishing great achievements along the way will serve as a blueprint to inspire and become the leader in the travel ball industry.

The MVP Blue Jackets Travel Baseball Program is pleased to announce that we have entered in to a definitive merger agreement with the (Gutsie Sports Academy) GSA Gatorz, a leader in the travel ball industry with some of the greatest coaching and talent of players. This merger has been carefully considered over the past 10 months and after due diligence, we are ready!

This merger with GSA Gatorz based out of Hazleton, PA further strengthens our position in the Travel Baseball market. The combination of MVP Blue Jackets and GSA Gatorz coaching experience, talent pool and other critical resources, will provide our clients the quality experience they seek when it comes to opportunities, competition, development and culture.

As with all important organizational decisions, we will work closely with our clients, partners and employees to make the integration process as smooth as possible. The MVP Blue Jackets will now become a part of the Northeast Exposure, home of the Northeast Expos.

Our teams will consist of 9u-17u. Our youth programs 9u-12u are designed to remain on a “home base” or regional structure, meaning there will be little cross over for players and they shall be satisfied within their regional location. Our 13u & 14u teams will start to experience some of the benefits of merging teams to satisfy strong rosters with good families. The high school level players at 15u-17u is dedicated to delivering the highest level of coaching among the strongest players of both regions. The primary focus for high school players will be dedicated to the recruitment process and exposure components to fulfill the needs of the player looking to play this game at the higher levels. No matter what the age group, Northeast Exposure will uphold the fundamental values of Commitment. Unity. Excellence.

The integration of both companies will take place over the next 3 months. Of course, in the meantime our customers will continue to receive the high-quality experience we strive to deliver and you come to expect.

MVP Sports Academy and Gutsie Sports Academy will continue to operate under their names but our travel baseball divisions of MVP Blue Jackets and GSA Gatorz will immediately start operating under the Northeast Exposure, now a wholly owned subsidiary of MVP Blue Jackets and GSA Gatorz.
