Professional Players now Training at MVP
Gabe Noyalis - RHP of the Toronto Blue Jays Organization
Steve Sulcoski - C/IF - Washington Wild Things
MVP welcomes back Gabe Noyalis and Steve Sulcoski after their long season playing in the pros. Upon returning, they have set out to bring some of the most advanced training methods back to the baseball community of NEPA. All instructional off-season programs will be taking place at MVP Sports Academy.
When developing this years off-season programming, MVP has carefully considered the intangible values that most young athletes are not achieving in their typical off-season training. You can commonly find the athletes private trainer sitting on a bucket while the athlete throws a bullpen, takes swings off a tee, and hits some soft toss. We all know that repetitions are very important but if the athlete is not being challenged week in and week out, and the last lesson looks like the next, the players progress will plateau .
We at MVP understand the importance of introducing concepts, demonstrating those concepts, assessing the athletes ability to apply those concepts, and then come the athletes quality repetitions. The athlete should always be assigned a program or homework to do outside of their lesson as that's the real place repetitions should be taking place. Noyalis and Sulcoski are excited to bring some cutting edge methods to the table and look forward to having a heavy impact on all participants this upcoming off-season.
Programs To Look Out For: MVP Strong - Strength & Conditioning, Throw/Pitch Velocity, College Showcase Training, accompanied with a slew of Hitting and Position Specific Defensive Classes/Camps. These programs have been designed to bring each athlete, of all age groups, to reach their full potential for their upcoming Spring season.
